The Govee WiFi Water Leak Detector allows users to monitor water leakages on their phones, even when away from home. By connecting the gateway, water sensors, and Govee Home app, users can easily track any leaks without the hassle of annoying wires. Each water sensor can be named according to its location on the app, and when a leak occurs, the sensors will sound a loud alarm and send email and app notifications to the user's phone, enabling them to quickly address the issue.

The Govee Home app offers various features, including a smart battery level display, the ability to connect up to 10 water sensors, and a leakage record on the user's phone. The ultra-loud 100 dB alarm ensures that users are alerted even when WiFi is unavailable.

To connect the water leak detectors to a phone, users need to download the Govee Home app, sign up with their email account, and select the H5040 device. After pressing the pairing button for 3 seconds and entering the WiFi password, the user can connect the WiFi gateway to their router (2.4GHz WiFi only) and place the water sensors in the desired locations.

The Govee WiFi gateway's strong and stable signal transmission allows it to connect up to 10 water sensors simultaneously, providing full home coverage. The sensitive sensor probes on the water sensors, including 2 groups on the back and 1 on the front, quickly detect any water pipe dripping. The loud, adjustable 0-100 dB alarm ensures users are alerted to water leaks even when WiFi is unavailable.
