The Water Leak Sensor 4 is a versatile device designed to provide reliable water leak detection. Powered by LoRa technology, the Water Leak Sensor 4 offers an impressive range of up to a quarter-mile, making it suitable for use in challenging areas like basements, outdoor porch/patio areas, sheds, free-standing garages, and remote outbuildings. This long-range capability sets it apart from typical residential Wi-Fi systems.

Even in the absence of Wi-Fi, internet, or power, the sensor continues to operate thanks to the patented Control-D2D device-to-device pairing feature, which allows the devices to communicate directly over the LoRa-based wireless network. This ensures uninterrupted monitoring and alerts, even during power outages or internet disruptions.

The Water Leak Sensor 4 is part of the YoLink smart home ecosystem, which can support over 300 devices. It is compatible with the entire line of YoLink products, including security, environmental, power & lighting, smart locks, and cameras (coming soon).

Included in the package are two replaceable AAA batteries, which provide a remarkable battery life of over 5 years. No need to worry about frequent battery replacements.

To set up the Water Leak Sensor 4, users will need an Android or Apple smartphone, along with an Ethernet connection with internet access or a stable Wi-Fi connection (2.4GHz band). The accompanying YoLink app is always free, offering 5 free text alerts per device and an additional 5 per month. Users can also upgrade to 200 or 500 more alerts per month for $2 or $5, respectively.

The Water Sensor 4 with MoveAlert function, Water Leak Sensor 1, Water Leak Sensor 2, and Water Leak Sensor 3 are also available, each with their own unique features and specifications. These include water depth sensing, high/low water level alerts, and IP ratings ranging from IP65 to IP68 for different levels of waterproofing.
