It's important to note that the YoLink Motion Sensor does not have an audible alarm, but users can consider the Siren Alarm for that purpose.

The YoLink system's low power consumption means that device batteries can last up to 2 years or more, depending on the application and device usage/activity, using standard AAA Alkaline batteries (lithium batteries are not required).

The YoLink system is designed to be simple to set up and use. After setting up the notification preferences, users can let the system monitor their home and property, or they can utilize the available advanced automation features, including 3rd-party integration with Alexa and IFTTT, to interact with other YoLink and 3rd-party smart devices.

Setting up the YoLink system is a breeze with the Plug, Plug & Play feature. Users just need to plug the Hub into an outlet, connect the Hub to their router, and scan in new devices. The Hub is the only device that connects to the Internet, and a wired or WiFi connection is required. The wired connection is preferred for easy and fast Plug, Plug & Play, as well as for the most reliable and secure connection. However, the WiFi connection setup can be more challenging, as it may require changes to the user's network settings, passcodes, and the app.
