Smart Water Leak Detection Kit with SpeakerHub Audio/Voice and Sensor

The SpeakerHub "speaks" in two ways: the most common is you type the message out in advance, and the SpeakerHub reads it out using text-to-speech. You can also upload an MP3 file, which could include spoken words in another language, for example.

The SpeakerHub does require an internet connection, using a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection (not ethernet/wired). It will not work without an internet connection. You do not need to do anything with your existing devices, and you can mix and match as many hubs as you want.

While "loud enough" is subjective, it's important to know that the SpeakerHub is not meant to be a security siren or a loudspeaker. It's closer in volume to an Echo Dot, working great if you are in the same room, but you may not hear it from another floor.

The SpeakerHub is USB-powered, so as long as you have the appropriate plug-in USB adapter, you can power it from 220V or 480V.

The "START WATER STARTER KIT" includes a SpeakerHub and a Water Leak Sensor. Receive alerts via the SpeakerHub's integral speaker: be notified with attention-getting alert tones, followed by text-to-speech-based spoken messages, telling you exactly which sensor has detected a leak or flood.

The YoLink wireless Water Sensor could not be easier to install; just place it near or under the equipment you wish to monitor. Suggested uses are near or under toilets, water heaters, laundry machines, dishwashers, sinks, fish tanks, in or near sump pumps, and by any other location subject to water leaks and flooding.

Patented Control-D2D device-to-device pairing allows for functionality with the loss of WiFi, internet, and even AC power! Pair your leak sensors to one of our wireless valve controllers and/or sirens. No internet, no WiFi, no worries!

SpeakerHub keeps you audibly informed using text-to-speech technology, reading out your alerts or your custom message. You can even upload your own MP3 files. SpeakerHub does NOT have a microphone; it does not listen. Confidently place it in any room of your home or business.

This kit is part of the Smart Water Leak Protection line, which includes smart water shut-off devices, for automatic water leak detection & shut-off solutions. You can add many YoLink products, including security, temperature, power & lighting, smart locks, and cameras (coming soon).

Requirements include an Android or Apple smartphone, a wired ethernet port, or a stable WiFi connection. *Optional central station monitoring, and optional add-on SMS and automated calls subscriptions are available. The app is always free, with 5 free texts per device, plus 5 per month.

Two replaceable AAA batteries, good for over 5 years, are included!
